The Wishing Well

The gift of this Wishing Well is for anyone who needs to make a wish, to believe in magic, to see miracles do really happen.

Just speak out your wish in your mind, embody the wish through visualization, as if the wish has been granted already and then let it go. Believe that the universe will grant you whatever you need for your growth as a human being and soul. 
As a child I have always known that you can make wishes come true. That you can live your dreams. And now, forty years later, I know that I have received everything I wished for when I was younger. 
So go ahead, give it a try, but remember: You have to truly BELIEVE it will happen.


This is my Gift of Art for the Gift of Art Challenge competition.
I was immediately inspired after a long period of having no inspiration at all.
All pictures used are taken by me. The well was photographed in Lisbon, Portugal, the sky as fog inside the well was taken on the beach in The Netherlands and the selfie was taken at home.
The only brush I used was  Rabies Star Brushset, which is free and unrestricted.

I have worked with the layer blending options and layer masks to create the gloomy mysterious look. I also used options as Levels, Hue/Saturation, Brightness/Contrasts. On top of this I used a displacement mask to let the fog blend in with the face.

Thanks to the organizers of this challenge. You have woken me up, very much needed.
