With a vengeance and a promise The Phoenix energy revives life force.
The story of Jean Grey aka Marvel Girl of the X-men, who, because of her feelings for Scott (Cyclops), emits so much life force and willpower that The Phoenix hears her plea and restores her back to life with a part of it's energy, only to find that this cosmic energy is too much for a human being to handle and therefor it causes her own destruction in the end.
